Council House: The
Oneida Nation Council House, a place for government meetings and ceremonies,
signifies the rebirth of this Nation. The white pine log building provides
a resting place for the Oneida Stone. Legend says the granite rock moved from
place to place until it came to rest where the Oneidas should make their permanent
home.
